Derbyshire Skills Festival 2018 is coming to Chesterfield

This free event is aimed at students aged 13 to 19 and particularly useful for those in Year 11 who are considering their options post 16.

Taking place at the Proact Stadium on Sheffield Road on 26th September 2018 the event is open from 3.30pm till 8pm. If you can’t wait until then, the Fair is also in Derby on 19th & 20th September.

Derbyshire Skills Festival is an opportunity for young people leaving school or college or looking for a job with training to talk to the professionals and get all the information and guidance they need under one roof.

Visitors will also be able to take part in have-a-go sessions to test their skills and give them an idea what different careers might be like.

There will also be sessions for young people with special educational needs and disabilities and young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) and other vulnerable groups.
